80s Huge Brutalist Abstract Mid Century C. Jere Brass Sunburst Sculpture Signed Massive, focal, sensational, Curtis Jere abstract brutalist table sunburst sculpture. Signed and dated 1988. The composition consists of fused metal rods of varied lengths, a faux verdisgris/aqua green, wiith bay-aged, brass painted highlights The piece sits atop a separate, heavy black marble cylindrical base The sculpture consists of 2 sections; The large sculpture with a long down rod on the bottom and a substantial black marble base in which these rods are inserted into a center hole The base will be packed separately so that neither section is damaged in shipping The paint has a brutalist texture as well.
